Check your Samsung TV model and connection
Samsung TVs use Samsung’s own smart-TV platform rather than the Android TV app store. Switch on the television, open Settings and confirm the internet connection is working. Check the model and software version if an app provider lists minimum requirements. An app available on a phone is not necessarily available in the Samsung TV store.
Install an app from the television
Use Home, open Apps and search for the precise app name. Inspect its developer and description, then select Install where available. A Samsung account may be required. Launch the app from Home and follow the developer’s sign-in instructions. Only add content or subscriptions you have permission to watch; installing an app does not include channels.
What to do when an app is missing
Check that your TV’s country/region settings match where you use it and that the app supports your particular model. Run the TV’s normal system update process, restart the television and look again. If the app is unsupported, a separate compatible streaming device may be more practical than trying unofficial software.
Keep everything running smoothly
Enable app updates if offered, leave adequate free storage and update the TV system occasionally. If one app fails, try closing it, restarting the TV and reinstalling that app before resetting the entire television. Keep your service account credentials private and use official customer support channels.
